As a veteran, I was irritated by the attack on General Bolduc about riding in an antique vehicle which was followed by a small confederate flag. It wasn’t like he had a white hooded robe on while burning a cross.
I was even more irritated that, as a one-star General, he apologized for it. Maybe it’s because I’m a Marine enlisted veteran, and I just don’t understand.
Maybe it’s because this is my 1st political run, and all the things that I’ve seen so far about politics don’t leave me with a warm fuzzy feeling about our political leadership.
This is not a hit job on the General at all. Maybe I just expected more. I realize that the only person you’ll ever agree with 100% of the time is you.
Full disclosure I’m also a candidate for US Senate. I realize that I’m not as high profile as others however, as a voter, I do have an issue with none of them supporting Trump publicly, and that’s fine, but it irritates me when I’ve seen them apologize for things they shouldn’t. As a voter, I’d want them to say piss off. I’m not apologizing.
