Children in Texas Sing Oath to Be Martyrs for Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei

Memri TV Screen grab - Kids Sing Khamenei is our leader

School-age children in Houston, Texas, have a song they’d like you to hear. In it they aspire to be like (former) “IRGC Qods Force Commander General Qasem Soleimani,” and make an oath to be a martyr for Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei.

The song’s lyrics say: “[Khamenei] is calling on his children, his soldiers… In spite of my age, I will be your army’s commander…May my father and mother be sacrificed for you, I will sacrifice everything for you…I make an oath to be your martyr, Ali.”

The song’s original Farsi lyrics include a pledge to follow in the footsteps of IRGC Qods Force Commander General Qasem Soleimani, who was killed in a U.S. airstrike in 2020. In February 2019, the Islamic Education Center of Houston had held a ceremony marking the 40th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in Iran. At the ceremony, children sang: “Khamenei is our leader, we are his soldiers.”

Houston, Texas – Not Iran. You can watch a clip here from MEMRI TV. In it,

Morteza Kazemian, a tenth grader, said that the United States continues to sanction Iran because it is scared of it and that America’s two goals in the Middle East are to support Israel and Saudi Arabia. The crowd chanted: “Away with the humiliation… Allah Akbar! Khamenei is our Leader!”

No word on whether the FBI is expected to respond to this insurrectionist “teaching” by raiding the home of Mike Lindell.
