Of course, the Left is complaining as vociferously that schools aren’t teaching sexuality mores to young children barely out of diapers as they were stating that they weren’t teaching Critical Race Theory even as they were fighting tooth and tong that they weren’t. I always wondered about that – why are they fighting it so hard if they aren’t?
Yeah, me, too. These are supposed to be the “expert child educators” who keep telling us that they teach “age-appropriate” materials to age ranges. So if Florida’s new Parental Rights bill says that Kindergarten through third graders should be left alone from this topic, and teachers aren’t teaching such stuff, WHY are school districts all over are refusing to tell parents what’s going on in the classrooms and how it is affecting kids?
By the vehemence of pushback we on the outside are getting, we’ve learned from that old adage of “where’s there is smoke, there’s FIRE!” that these protestations are the shame the districts already know they are. And yes, there are teeth to this – Parents can sue when they think teachers/staff are pulling the sex hanky-panky in their lessons, guidance, and decisions.
How DARE DeSantis – taking control from a part of Government that hates to be held accountable? And returning it back to where it truly belongs?
