The Climate Cult is concerned. The United Nations just released its latest cataclysmic climate prophecy, but no one can hear it over all the noise in Ukraine.
Regardless of how it’s misreported, a hot war is far more interesting to the people living on planet earth than what some elites at the UN want you to think about the weather. Sorry, climate.
No one wants to pay any attention to prognostications of planetary doom at the hands of fossil fuels and easy living, which isn’t odd since that’s how they live and will continue to do so regardless of the report or who listens.
So, the problem is not that at all. The groups who bottom feed off the grants and other government droppings these sorts of claims facilitate might starve to death without new BS to fertilize the process.
On Monday, the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) issued a much-publicized report that painted an apocalyptic picture of the future.
The UN “report spelling out why half of humanity is in danger isn’t drawing as much attention as it might while leaders are distracted by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine,” UK TV channel Sky News complained. Politico also noted that the latest UN Climate report “is unlikely to get the attention it warrants” given “the urgency and desperation of the war in Ukraine.”
Climate fear is a global multi-billion dollar industry, just like war. But war gets better ratings, and nothing says irony more than Marxist reporters falling prey to human nature (capitalist greed) by appealing to human nature (if it bleeds, it leads).
As for the UN’s latest screed, it deserves no attention whatsoever, and we have nearly 40 years of scientific evidence to prove it. The UN hasn’t gotten anything right, nor have the bottomfeeders that funnel garbage disguised as research into that process. It’s a massive, self-perpetuating, money laundering scheme.
No worries, where there is a trough, there will be pigs and politicians to feed them.
Besides, if the climate cult got what it wanted, they’d all be out of a job. Once the government takes control of the economy, there won’t be any money for pointless exercises like the pursuit of climate change research.
