Just How Expensive Will a Gallon of Joe’s Gasoline Get?

With Joe adding new records to his resume every day, we feel obligated to ask. The US just experienced the highest price for a gallon of gasoline ever on its way to the “highest ever” again, maybe every day, and for how long?

How high do we think it will get, and will there be any consequences?

And I don’t mean economic consequences; those will be crippling for many, I mean politically. Will Democrats pay a higher price electorally for Biden’s manifold of policy failures that compiled are driving prices to new record highs?

And how high will that gallon of gas get?

We’ve got a poll to take your temperature on the future peak price of gasoline and yes, that’ll depend on where you live. California will be more no matter what, but let’s shoot for the national average which at the moment is 4.173/gallon.

See “white” New Hampshire, with slightly lower prices. That’s because we have lower gas taxes than the blue states that surround us, so here’s a bonus question. Will Democrats lower gas taxes to lower the cost of Gasoline. NEVER!!!!

Anyway.

Where is that price going to eventually land and (you can add in comments) what do you think that means economically, politically, globally, locally, whatever you think adds to the conversation.

Values in the poll are rounded off to the nearest dollar.

Pick one. Your guess will be over that amount but not higher than the next choice.

The Poll will run from 6:30 pm March 8th until 6:30 pm March 10th.
