Joe Biden Helps China – More Americans Lose Their Jobs

When Donald Trump hiked tariffs on Chinese products, it created jobs in the US. Manufacturers and industries began moving operations to US soil and looked for ways to make more competitive products here.

The result, with other pro-economic policies, created real growth and opportunity. It also denied a global enemy a trickle of revenue it could use against us.

America first?

Joe Biden is more of an America last sort. He’s not done everything he can to undermine our economy and security, but he’s done a lot after a year. But he’s only getting started.

LG Electronics, a South Korea-based company, announced that it will be closing its Huntsville solar panel manufacturing operation, resulting in the layoffs of about 160 American employees and another 60 Americans who are employed as contract workers. …

The announcement comes just weeks after Biden decided to exempt foreign-made bifacial solar panels — the overwhelming majority of which come from China — from Section 201 tariffs on solar imports to the United States that were first imposed by former President Trump in January 2018 at a 30 percent rate.

Remember when the Democrats made a huge deal about offshoring? It was terrible for workers, America, and Republicans’ fault. As usual, this was projection. Biden is on a mission to offshore everything except illegal migrants (he’s onshoring them as fast as he can). Jobs, resources, technology, and to China of all places.

The Democrat majorities in congress are not saying a word or lifting a finger, so this is also on them. And local Dems won’t say a peep because the Borg Collective is not allowed dissent.

If you need a local example, we have the youngest openly gay legislator in the nation elected in the Granite State. Tony Labranche was so put off by his treatment by Democrats he left the party to become independent.

That doesn’t make him one, and I’m sure he’s very liberal. He’ll vote with Democrats more often than not. But he was expecting the opportunity for conversation and debate on those progressive issues in that caucus to discover these are not permitted.

‘The Democratic party, ironically, is the least democratic institution, I have ever been a member of…”

That is the plan for all of us and not just our speech. They mean to control our jobs and our lives.

I’m no fan of solar. It’s a highly subsidized, carbon-intensive, not-green, inefficient energy source. But if you want to pay for it, you should be able to do that. And those panels could be made here. We could pay Americans to make them for the people who want them and can afford them.

But Joe isn’t just killing 160 jobs in Alabama. He is offshoring solar production while demanding it becomes a significant energy source. He is offshoring every position that might have been as part of his liberal fantasy.

And his solution to that will be to have taxpayers prop up these once self-supporting lives as an apology. He is making us weaker while he makes our enemies stronger. And that is not by design.
