Hundreds of kids in Oakdale have decided they will do what the people in charge do. In honor of Governor Newsom, they’ve stopped wearing masks at school.
Freedom Friday is an organized protest against the on-campus mask mandate. Kids who refused to wear masks in Oakdale were herded into the gym. No teaching or learning, no sports or activity.
The school and the District responded by threatening not to let them graduate, suspension, and call child protective services on the parents of these students.

The protests are ongoing, and according to this report, as many as 450 students in five different schools in this District, four of them elementary schools, are protesting the mask mandates.
California Governor Gavin Newsom was spotted maskless at the NFC championship game between the 49rs and Rams, despite the Countywide mask mandate that was in place. He says it was only for a few minutes, but I think we know that’s a lie.
These kids agree. If the Governor can defy the rules at his convenience, everyone can. We do not need them.
Is there a chance for compromise?
What if the students said they were going maskless in support of some victim class with no voice? Maskless for BLM. In support of women who lack easy access to abortion.
Go maskless for victims of sexual assault or, better yet, female migrant victims of trafficking and sexual assault. How about for Whoopi Goldberg?
Perhaps looting and arson would help their cause?
These kids have resorted to peaceful protests. To become ungovernable.
The District says this presents a clear and present danger to the health and safety of other students (in light of the world’s greatest pandemic in 100 years).
Millions dead.
Yup. And millions who would still be alive if the same people demanding kids need masks at school had not gotten in the way in the first place. They blocked early treatment and safe prophylaxis, imposed damaging lockdowns, closed businesses, threatened doctors and pharmacists to prevent them from treating their patients outside the government-approved methodology. They denied them income, education, happiness.
People of all ages were sacrificed behind a veil of political policy even though the science said none of that would work. All because they hated Donald Trump.
You know it’s true.
These kids may not agree with any or all of that, but they know what they can see, and they are done being controlled by hypocrites and prepared to accept the consequences.
