Where’d The Snow Go? – UC Berkeley: Record December Snowfall in California

The most recent La Nina has gifted us (here in New England) with a very mild winter. Not much snow, and I’m not complaining because if you like (or don’t like the weather) in these parts, as the saying goes, wait. It’ll turn on you, possibly like it has here.

Ironically, one of the things the global climate cult likes to ignore is the climate elsewhere—the weather, all over. Prognosticators in the Northeast will instead point at our weather and cry global warming without the context of brutal winters in Europe, Asia, or even other parts of the US.

Sierra Nevada Donner Pass Snowfall

The final count for December 2021 at the UC Berkeley Sierra lab was 214 inches, a record. A total of 267 inches (YTD). They got 59 inches in the last week.

Record snowfall, lucky for us, is as much an indication of the need for a centralized, socialized energy policy as is little or no snow. Normal snowfall. It’s all an indication of the need for command and control policy defined and distributed by a few inside the DC beltway.

So, yeah, it has nothing to do with the weather, climate, or change because, as I noted here, The Goal of the “Climate Change” Movement (Ironically) is a Political Climate in Which Nothing Changes.

Climate Change is not about the weather; it is about economics. [And] In their economic climate, it will be a cold day in hell when some average schlep from a “bad neighborhood” can rise to wealth and influence without force and the blessing of the One-Party State.

If you are not already rich, connected, and plugged into their ideology (or descended from those people), the chances of success are frozen solid. No movement.

What they mean by climate change is a political state in which nothing changes.

It is a political caste with a ruling class and serfs: nobility and peasants. It is a world where they are warm in the winter and cool in the summer, and you are the opposite, and nothing about that ever changes.

And yes, the climate will continue to change because they couldn’t do anything about that, even if that’s what they meant.

It’s just another game we have to play where they come up with something we did wrong as a way to seize more control over our lives.

Is it working?
