My Interview with Leah Cushman Prime Sponsor of HB1022 – Making Ivermectin Available Without a Prescription

Representative Leah Cushman took a few minutes to chat with me about her bill, HB1022. Leah represents Hillsborough District 2 in the Town of Weare and HB1022 would permit pharmacists to dispense the drug ivermectin by means of a standing order. But what does that really mean?

Leah explains standing orders and how they benefit all Granite Staters. We also talk about why she proposed the legislation, which “players” are supporting and opposing it, and her sense of how the committee will vote on the bill.

She also talks about another healthcare-related bill she is sponsoring, what it will do, and why it needs your support.
