Ever fearful of Supreme Court Retirements under a Republican Administration, Left-Wing Activists have been pushing hard for the retirement of aging Liberal justices. You know, while Biden is warming the seat behind the Resolute Desk.
And it looks like they got one. Justice Stephen Breyer has announced his retirement.
Breyer’s departure at this time will, indeed, keep a leftist seat secure, but it doesn’t tip the scales in their favor as former President Donald Trump was able to put in Niel Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett into their seats during his four years as President, tipping the court to the right.
Courts have been the go-to guy or gal for years when Prog wanted something but didn’t want to have to vote for it. Create a scene, go to court, rise it to the top, and get the Supreme Court to legislate it for you.
We should expect something just like that, but given the sure nature of who is actually running things, we could end up with almost anyone as the nominee.
Skip the Clintons. How about AOC, just for the fun factor?
No, well, we could get an Obama or, more likely – as Red State reminds us – Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson. She’s black, a woman (whatever that means), clerked for Breyer and replaced Merrick ‘Parents are terrorists” Garland when he became the (cough-cough) AG under Whoever is Running the Biden Administration (WRBA).
A black woman on the court would be a nice touch, but a transgender woman who identifies as black would be better.
Now that you’ve canceled Justice Breyer and plan to play the affirmative action card don’t go half-woke.
