Notable Quote – Short and Sweet about our Founders and a Chair

I have always liked this one – Alexander Hamilton to Thomas Jefferson:

There are approximately 1,010,300 words in the English language, but I could never string enough words together to properly express how much I want to hit you with a chair

It also points out what sissies our current crop of young ‘uns are that would have a cow (ok, tofu if they’re vegan) because they believe that words can be as “violent” as a fistfight.

I guess they missed the part of History that would have taught them that THESE guys used to duel with real guns to settle an argument. You know, like the gangbangers in Chicago but with more honesty and self-control.

But then, again, I hold that much of our society can’t even HOLD the chair that Hamilton might have used.

We’ve lost much in the SJW translation of language and norms.

But that line IS funny! I doubt that the current crop of late-nite TV show (formerly amusing) comedians could delve up such a line.

OK, maybe Gutfield. Probably. If I could stay awake that long anymore.
