In a recent post insulting and ridiculing General Bolduc, New Hampshire’s NeverTrumpJournal also went after General Flynn:
Seriously … “disgraced”?
Either Graham is woefully ignorant or he is willfully pushing the thoroughly discredited Russia-Collusion-Hoax. A quick review of the FACTS shows that it is not Flynn who should be referred to as “disgraced,” but the Deep-Staters and NeverTrumpers who refused to accept the 2016 election and engaged in a soft coup for the following four years.
Flynn pleaded guilty to making false statements to the FBI when two agents interviewed him at the White House shortly after he took over as Donald Trump’s national security adviser. Flynn pleaded guilty because Mueller had impoverished Flynn and was threatening to go after Flynn’s son if Flynn did not plead.
Flynn later reversed his plea after firing his lawyers and retaining new representation who unearthed evidence that the interview was a setup… an internal DOJ interview concluded that the FBI’s interview of Flynn was “untethered to, and unjustified by, the FBI’s counterintelligence investigation into Mr. Flynn,” and that the interview was not “conducted with a legitimate investigative basis.” Stated more succinctly, the FBI knew back in 2016 that there was NO collusion between Trump and Russia.
There was no legal basis to ever charge Flynn with lying to the FBI because the FBI’s interview had no legitimate investigative purpose. It was a political prosecution designed to damage Trump; that is it was part of the ongoing soft coup conducted against Trump.
Once the internal review determined that Flynn’s prosecution was baseless, the DOJ filed a motion to dismiss the case … which the presiding judge, despite being obviously and overwhelmingly Trump-Deranged had no choice but to grant.
The proper adjectives to describe Flynn would be “vindicated” and “exonerated.”
