Wake UP and Laugh: Women Know Things That Men Don’t

You watch one thing, and your feed fills up with that which is just like it. I watched a DRYBAR comedy video, and boom. There’s a lot to choose from, and some of it darn funny. Like this guy, who made me laugh so much, I have to share it.

And I’m sharing it because it’s good to laugh. And some folks dread Monday. Not that there’s no other good excuse to laugh.

I was having a conversation with someone at dinner, and they are having a hard time with the way the world is working at the moment. They are internalizing all this stuff, and they asked me how I deal with it. Well, I blog, but I don’t watch TV news, and I keep the relationship physical. I don’t internalize it. So, no, I don’t get angry or upset, quite the opposite.

I get energized.

And this stuff is so ridiculous that, as my mother used to say, you have to laugh or you have to cry. I choose to laugh at them, and I make time to find joy in the world. And then I get back to blogging because it’s my way of processing and helping others see things in, perhaps, a new way or an old way that strikes us as new.

Good comedians do that.

This guy did that for me. He made me smile and laugh, and I hope he does the same for you.
