Virtual Halloween?

The CDC got caught with its holiday pants down, lampshade on the head, with some virtual holiday guidance. It was quickly removed, excused as old guidance. But it mentioned the fully vaccinated and their special rights as Jabbed Americans.

If you got stuck you can still get the flu, spread the flu, and you might have side effects, become paralyzed, or die (they always leave that last bit out), but the unvaccinated are the threat so you better wear a mask.

Maybe even just dial it up, you know, facetime, or whatever.

This, in the wake of High Lord Fauci’s pontificating on the mysteries of flu, family, and tradition. Christmas? Hmmm. Maybe, maybe not. It’s too soon to say.

Too soon. Before it got the virtual shepherds crook, the CDC wanted y’all to know that,

“Attending gatherings to celebrate events and holidays increases your risk of getting and spreading COVID-19. The safest way to celebrate is virtually, with people who live with you, or outside and at least 6 feet apart from others,” the CDC noted in its since-removed guidance.

Even Halloween? How would that work? It’s all a trick.

The guidance, which was posted on Friday, listed virtual and in-person gatherings with fully vaccinated individuals as being the safest options for holiday gatherings. The agency also noted that masks should be worn at indoor gatherings or outdoor gatherings that are crowded, or gatherings with those who are not fully vaccinated.

The holiday guidance can’t be old because we didn’t have vaccinated late “holiday season.” The lying is old, that much is true. So, you decide if it’s a trick or a treat?
