New Hampshire Doesn’t Need HHS Money, nor the Conditions That Come with It.

by
Op-Ed

As I’m certain you’re aware the Rebuild NH leadership team and their organization has done a fabulous job of organizing many of us Granite Staters to ensure that our Governor and our Executive Counselors know, in no uncertain terms, that we oppose them taking the $27 million grant offered by HHS.

Money to push vaccines on those of us who steadfastly remain opposed to putting the foreign substances in our bodies.

They, and we who have followed their lead, have been so effective that Governor Sununu and the Councilors have kicked the decision-can yet further down the road (to October 13) in hopes that we tire of the effort.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  In fact, it is fanning the flames!

RebuildNH has also done a fabulous job of making many of us understand the onerous conditions that come with the grant money.  I repeat them here only in hopes that it gets wider press with you:

Quoting from RebuildNH’s letter to the Executive Council following Wednesday’s (September 29, Executive) Meeting: “Accepting these funds would force New Hampshire to comply with the following untenable requirements as stated in the contract:

  • Comply with existing and/or future directives and guidance from the Secretary regarding control of the spread of Covid-19,
  • “In consultation and coordination with HHS, provide commensurate with the condition of the individual COVID-19 patient care regardless of the individual’s home jurisdiction and/or appropriate public health measures (e.g., social distancing, home isolation); and,”
  • Assist the U.S. Government in the implementation and enforcement of federal orders related to quarantine and isolation.”
  • “Further, consistent with the full scope of applicable grant regulations … the recipient is expected to provide to CDC copies of and/or access to COVID-19 data collected with these funds, including but not limited to data related to COVID-19 testing. CDC will specify in further guidance and directives what is encompassed by this requirement.”

Out of curiosity and a need to ferret out the truth for myself, I have compiled data that is available from the US Census (2020 population by state) and the vaccine information posted on USAFacts.org, dated October 1. 2021 (by state: percentage of the population that has received one dose, percentage fully vaccinated, number of doses administered, number of doses distributed, and percentage of doses used).

A full tally of the data, by state, is attached.

John Garrison 2021_10_04 US Vax data

Here are the facts for New Hampshire as of October 1, 2021:  We have a population of 1,377,529.  Sixty-two (62) percent of our population or 845,068 have been vaccinated, leaving 38% or 523,461 persons unvaccinated.

Here is are some important questions that I’ve not seen answered:  Why is HHS willing to pay $52 per person to get them vaccinated?  Why must they vaccinate even those of us who have more and better antibodies from having lived (suffered) through having and combatting the virus?  Are they using Federal Funds to support and feed big Pharma?

But worse, if we look at the data for the US:  Again, according to the data, 46 percent of the population or 149,250,370 of us are not vaccinated.  If we multiply that number by $50 per unvaccinated person we get a staggering $7,698,300,041;  that’s right folks $7.7 Trillion!!!

John Garrison 2021_10_04 HHS Grants Estimate

If I recall correctly, last week Congress was making the case that the Government is broke and, barring emergency action, would need to shut down.

How is it then that HHS has $7.7 Trillion lying around in a rainy day fund that hasn’t already been earmarked for vital and essential services???

And more importantly, how many other departments have monies squirreled away for who knows what?

I’ll close by restating the old adage:  Think Globally, but act locally.

I urge every Granite Stater to end this madness in our state by writing or emailing your Executive Councilor to oppose taking this grant.  The price is far too great!

The RebuildNH website has all the information you need to be effective.
