As the new Legislative Session approaches, bill watchers can experience another season of the unintended consequences of Democrat bills proposed in all seriousness as good for New Hampshire.
Take LSR 2022-2049 – Relative to requiring COVID19 vaccination for school attendance.
Any guess as to what that might be all about – hmmm, wink-wink!
We do not know the precise language, but it is not a prohibition on mandatory vaccination. The sponsors are all pro-vaccine or passport Dems who believe that the only path to “normal” is mandatory government pharmacological enhancement. Seig Heil!
That means The Real® new normal they are after is … giving the government the power to mandated pharmacological enhancements. Whatever whenever forever. And this is the single most important and overlooked aspect of any such debate.
If you give the government this authority, they’re never giving that up or giving it back.
Ever.
Not even for that woman’s right to her body autonomy business, we keep hearing about (even now), but let’s not wander into that minefield. Our focus here is on the very idiotic idea that this mandate has anything to do with kids and COVID19.
New Hampshire’s COVID19 Summary data.
In the 18-months that the State of New Hampshire has been tracking positive cases, COVID hospitalizations, and deaths (whatever any of that may mean), the under-20-crowd (we’ll generalize them as students), has demonstrated that the last thing they need is The Jab™ or a government mandate requiring it.
All that time plus six to nine months of alphabet variants, the State reported 23,612 positive cases over 18 months (out of roughly 286,000 NH residents in the age group). Of those “positive cases,” 32 were in the hospital (many not for COVID but with it, I suspect).
Zero mortality.
That puts the demographic hospitalization rate for this age group at 0.011%. Students have a 0.011% likelihood they’ll catch covid and need to go to a hospital. That’s technically zero. But we need a school attendance jab mandate?
We also know that months of wailing and jabbing have made no measurable improvement on the state data. They are not as good as natural immunity, for which this age group has the best possible outcomes. And that natural exposure to any version will build antibodies against multiple mutations with almost no health risk, which the vaccines cannot promise.
And natural protection will last longer and possibly a lifetime.
Their plan is a game of vaccine booster roulette you can never escape.
More Bad News for a Mandate
As of last month, VAERS has reported 3,018 adverse vaccine reaction reports for the Granite State, 65 of those in the under 20 age group.
There have been 55 COVID vaccine-related deaths reported for New Hampshire.
We know these are undercounted.
Some number of those adverse reactions were likely minor. But if you only have a 0.11% chance of ever needing a hospital bed and (so far) no chance of dying, why would you even approach the subject unless it was to ensure there were no mandates for Granite Staters under 20?
This is an inoculation that has an ineffective and short shelf-life after injection. It fails completely to restore a normal public life (unless useless masking and distancing are your new normal) while adding the risk of actual harm or death from The Jab™. And there are safer treatments for those at risk.
And kids are currently poor carriers for this virus but jabbing them could make them excellent carriers.
The Plan?
If the plan behind LSR 2022-2049 is to implement a program of forced vaccination, then its true purpose cannot be public health.
It has to be the normalization or indoctrination of children into accepting at-will government-mandated pharmacological enhancement in perpetuity. Drugging kids with something they don’t need that could hurt them, to treat a virus that doesn’t harm them.
Are you trying to get parents to pull their kids out of public schools? Is this an under-the-radar crossing the aisle effort to migrate kids to charter, private, or homeschools?
Was it the intention of Democrats typically beholden to Teachers Unions and a Government school monopoly to push more kids away from public education?
Probably not.
As I said, I’ve not seen the language, but looking at the list of sponsors, it would not surprise me if they’re planning on pushing this on every school. No learning for you unless you ignore truth and facts and blindly do as we say!
And don’t hold your breath on the possibility that LSR 2022-2049 protects a female student’s inalienable right to bodily choice. And toss the whole consent issue out the window too.
That’s a narrative for a different political priority, and you never cross those political “streams.” It would be bad. How bad? Imagine all progressive political life as you know it stopping instantaneously and every lefty-abortion or #metoo narrative exploding at the speed of light.
