Communist Bernie Sanders – do I need to say more? He’s ticked that 2 Democrat Senators, Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin, are “thwarting” the will of the other 48 Democrat Senators in getting the Biden/Socialist $5.5 Trillion agenda passed.
2 senators cannot be allowed to defeat what 48 senators and 210 House members want. We must stand with the working families of our country. We must combat climate change. We must delay passing the Infrastructure Bill until we pass a strong Reconciliation Bill.

So, Elected Monarchs and don’t bother with basic math – and forgetting that the Republicans get a vote in all this – and they all voted no on this. So the actual vote was 52 against vs only 48 for. But this is a great example of the Left’s “framing” of an issue. Bernie can’t even acknowledge that these two bills, the Infrastructure and the Reconciliation, are such dogs to most that they can’t get it passed.
Once again, and it happens on both sides, the ideas and the cost are such that it isn’t “a good idea”. Your fault, as the Budget Chair, that you can’t get it support for you. But if you go to the responses to his tweet here, it’s clear that math doesn’t matter. In this case, it is CLEAR that the Founders created a system that would keep such bad stuff from becoming law.
You know, I’m real tired of these huge bills and on THAT part, I’m glad its failing (2,465 pages). “Too big to fail” is the phrase that comes to mind. Frankly, a couple of pages, highly tuned, should be sufficient but I’m willing to go a bit longer – the number of pages in the Constitution. And a STRICT adherence to ONLY the enumerated Powers assigned to the Federal Government.
You should be as well. It is these monstrosities of a bill that allow for “mission creep” because so much is packed in, it becomes too easy for “mission creep” to seep out.
But it is rather amusing to watch Bernie and his bunch of Congressional Commie Kinfolk blow their stacks because of Constitutional limitations (and the Parliamentarian that has rebuffed some efforts due to the Senate’s own rules).
Um the Senate has 100 members and the House has 435 members. So Bernie is saying that 48% of the Senate and House should now make policy. Which is pretty good news for Republicans, who have 50 seats in the Senate and 212 seats in the House, I guess! https://t.co/hQ89k7MNwe

Twitchy has some more mocking as well.
