I’m kinda looking at this as a challenge rather than as a “Holy Cow – who knew how many ways to eat a hot dog!!!!” The hard part is going to be in finding the right bread in which to put all this.
Some of these samples are looking to be rather fully stuffed. And I see a few ingredients in which I’d rather not go there (e.g., coleslaw, quail egg, guac I’m not too keen on either). And I’m thinking “mashed potatoes around a hot dog? That’ll be a stretch.
But still, most I could go with. I do a Michigan pretty much a lot: grilled hot dog, JR Jardin based chili, yellow mustard, and chopped vidalia onions in a top split buttered pan fried bun.
So, what’s your favorite?? Or one you wouldn’t touch within a country fair’s Midway?
