I have to admit that I’ve lost interest in the Olympics. Especially this year as there were those US Athletes that were so self-absorbed as to think that WE have to listen to THEIR diatribes if they were to medal and get up on the podium. We want to praise them for their determination and not their politics, congratulate them for their hard work and dedication but not for their amateur preaching in believing that winning a medal automatically allow them to harangue the rest of us.
ALL that said, I thought this rather interesting:
Skateboarding was new this year – TMEW had me watch the 12 year old that won a silver medal. Yes, 12 years old.
