Chair of #MeToo Advocacy Group Quits – Caught Plotting with Cuomo to Smear His Accusers (Update: Cuomo Resigns)

Time’s Up is a group devoted to raising money… for a legal defense fund. The fund claims to provide resources for women who are sexually harassed or assaulted in the workplace. Its chairman, Roberta Kaplan, just resigned. She is alleged to have been working with Andrew Cuomo to smear the governor’s accusers.

Breaking News: Andrew Cuomo Resigns (External Link)

Yes, she’s a woman. Helping a predatory man. Get away with sexually harassing women at work.

Robbie is supposed to be running,

    • A legal defense fund of $13 million that will be administered by the National Women’s Law Center. The fund is to be used to support any lower-income woman who is seeking justice against sexual assault or harassment in her workplace.
    • Advocating for laws to punish any company that will tolerate persistent harassment to its female workers.
    • A movement towards gender parity in both studios and talent agencies.
    • A call for women on the red carpet during the 75th Golden Globe Awards to be dressed in black and to speak out about and against sexual assault and harassment.

Advocating for laws to punish any company that will tolerate persistent harassment? Well, it doesn’t say any government office or lawmaker, but the optics are so bad Bobbie had to step aside. Is she alone?

According to this, care of Ace of Spades, the current leader of HRC, the Human Rights Campaign – another left-wing laundromat pretending to be an advocacy group, could be going down with Kaplan and Cuomo.

Alphonso David is a close advisor to Gov. Cuomo.

[T]he Attorney General’s investigation details how David remained in close contact with Cuomo’s advisers as they responded to multiple women’s accusations of sexual harassment. David, the report states, sent one accuser’s confidential personnel files to a Cuomo adviser. That adviser then leaked the accuser’s files to the media, according to the report. In another instance described in the report, David took part in discussions about a draft letter or op-ed that would attack the accuser’s credibility, and gathered signatures for the effort. David did not sign the letter, and it was never publicized.

HRC says it mobilizes for equality, but this is the opposite of that, so Alphonse David should expect some harassment until he steps aside from the position, squealing on the way out the door, no doubt, about inequality and (since he is a person of color) racism!

Two fine examples of Democrat Party Kodak Picture moments. Snapshots of who they are and about what matters. Leaders of so-called equality groups choosing political access and power over their own mission statements.

Choosing not to believe women in favor of a well-connected Left-Wing political asset.

Isn’t that just the Democrat party in spades?

One more point. Let us not forget what this is all really about. If Dandy Andy Cuomo had not become the Prodigal COVID-Response Love Child who can’t come back, we’d have never heard about these accusations. They would have been suppressed by the party machine and the media with or without the aid of Kaplan and David.

The love affair with a potential President Andy Cuomo (or as noted in previous posts as a VP for Harris when they shuffle Obama off the stage) would continue.

None of what we see now is about making Cuomo pay for his intimidation and harassment of women. Democrats never cared about that and do not care. Not even Democrat women running well-funded #MeToo organizations. This is about using those alleged misdeeds to distract from Cuomo’s COVID Nursing home manslaughter spree.

A story no one is talking about anymore, just like they planned.

Update: As this went to press news broke that Andrew Cuomo has Resigned as Governor of New York.

ALBANY, N.Y. — Gov. Andrew Cuomo resigned over a barrage of sexual harassment allegations Tuesday in a fall from grace a year after he was widely hailed nationally for his detailed daily briefings and leadership during the darkest days of COVID-19.

The three-term governor’s decision, which will take effect in two weeks, was announced as momentum built in the Legislature to remove him by impeachment. It came after New York’s attorney general released the results of an investigation that found Cuomo sexually harassed at least 11 women.
