Notable Quote – The Answer as to WHY is Ideology

Who does this on a regular basis unless it is purposeful to place a Big Lie into the subconscious of the American People? To drive home a perception that is created for one and only one purpose?

I would add one more factor to Douthat’s analysis. As with the 1619 Project and Kendi and Reynolds, Stamped: Racism, Antiracism and You, activist historians and journalists play fast and loose with facts to suit their historical narratives.

They also seem impervious to acknowledging, much less correcting, even the most glaring errors when pointed out to them. For example (in honor of Independence Day), no, the American Revolution was not fought primarily to prevent Great Britain from abolishing slavery in the colonies. Those who insist that public schools should teach made-up nonsense as historical fact in service of radical ideologies that most Americans don’t agree with will rightly get political blowback.

-David Bernstein (Ross Douthat on Structural Racism)

The bolded part is extremely true and is the Left’s philosophical complement to their Legislative policy of “Good intentions matter a lot, not so much for actual results”. Here, they’ve spun up a Narrative and that Narrative MUST remain as is. Reality and facts cannot be allowed to make that Narrative change – until it is seen that the Narrative is hindering the obtaining of the actual goal. Which, in this case, is the deconstruction of American history, philosophy, and norms such that “we” will begged to be saved from ourselves.

And in this case, it depends on the idea and motivation making a subset of the American population to self-debase themselves and to have such a guilt complex that they will be pliable to any “solution” to this “crisis”.

In other words, this is just more Psychological Warfare happening in real time by the Left in order to achieve it’s goal in defeating “The American Experiment” and regressing us back to a set of rulers over subjects instead of Citizens that happen to have a Government.

Co-founder of GraniteGrok, my concern is around Individual Liberty and Freedom and how the Government is taking that away. As an evangelical Christian and Conservative with small "L" libertarian leanings, my fight is with Progressives forcing a collectivized, secular humanistic future upon us. As a TEA Party activist, citizen journalist, and pundit!, my goal is to use the New Media to advance the radical notions of America's Founders back into our culture.
