Kingswood Regional High School in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, wants this parent to know who runs the show when it comes to rules and COVID and masks. In a letter dated June 9th, the Principal made this as clear as vodka, Comrade.
And now they’ll all know.
“Your Consent is Not Needed in order for the School District to Require Masks.”
This Principal needs an editor, but he (oops, I gendered you, Guy) also needs to dial it back a bit. Your Consent is Not Needed in order for the School District to Require Masks?
And there’s nothing reasonable about the demand, and we’ve shared loads of science that says as much by actual doctors, not Ex-Doc Bureaucrats like Fauci or Sununu’s good ole Boy Epidemiologist, Dr. Ben Chan. I get the sense he’ll say anything to chase Federal Dollars.
When that compromises public health and infringes on basic rights, that is unreasonable, and making kids wear masks does both.
What is reasonable is that you, Guy, work for these parents, and they need to remind you of that. Make some changes.
Maybe this, along with a typical train wreck of a School Board, will motivate them to begin making those changes. Folks will run and win for School Board because, in most local elections, it doesn’t take too many people showing up to change the outcome.
A new Board could start replacing staff, from Superintendents to administrators. Make policy changes. Stand up for the students and the parents who pay the bills.
Plenty of states dropped these ridiculous mandates last year, and their “numbers” are as good or better than New Hampshire. A fact that will play well, as will the phrase, “Your Consent is Not Needed.”
