The NH House Can’t Get the Job Done on Right to Work – RINOs Kill the Bill

One of the problems we keep having around here is the inability of this state to elected enough actual Republicans to get all the jobs done.

Killing off limiting and arbitrary environmental portfolio standards, Escaping money-laundering schemes like RGGI. Preventing systemic and institutional racism in public education. Prohibiting Vaccine passports. Passing Right to Work.  They run hard but never make it to the finish line.

It looked good. We were close. Right to Work would be a great arrow in the New Hampshire Advantage Quiver. And it wasn’t even the State Senate that screwed us this time.

There’s always one more a**hole than you counted on, and in this case, in the NH House, more than one. Twenty, to be precise.

A motion to pass failed 199-175 with 20 “Republicans” opposing worker choice and freedom. They then voted 196-178 to postpone it indefinitely, killing it and burying it in a shallow grave down by the river!

The 17 Republicans who did not vote would not have been enough to save it though they might have prevented it from getting buried until the next session.

For those interested, here are the 20 Republicans who opposed Right to Work. If they are yours, you have the summer to figure out how you and their other constituents might convince them this is good for New Hampshire.

Keep your powder dry. Formulate your thoughts. And then come up with a strategy to swing them into the yea column.

Here’s the list of no-vote Republicans followed by those who did not vote.
