Mastectomy Scars and Beards at Queen City Pride

At this summer’s Queen City Pride Festival in Manchester, photographer Brittany L’Italien documented shirtless young women showing off their double mastectomy scars.

These young women have been convinced by influencers on social media and their peers to permanently damage their bodies to mimic a male body leaving them with painful scars, male-sounding voices, male pattern baldness, and facial and body hair. Long term, testosterone can lead to serious health problems.
