It is not enough to play defense. We need to go on the offense. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis recognizes that:

DeSantis signed a series of education reforms, including a requirement to the high school government curriculum that students be taught the “evils of communism and totalitarian ideologies.”
Under DeSantis, Florida was one of the leaders in banning Critical Race Theory:

And now Florida is taking the next step, which is to teach students that the authoritarian-collectivisms … far from being the ideals that the Left urges us to aspire to … are evil and responsible for untold economic, physical and psychological misery and death.
New Hampshire needs to do the same thing. For example, students should be taught about Mao’s Cultural Revolution because they need to be able to understand that Black Lives Matter, the 1619 project, Critical Race Theory, climate change, etc. etc. etc. are the American-Left’s version of the cultural revolution.
It is not enough to try to stop the Left from spewing racist hate and trashing America to our children. They should be taught to be proud of America and how incredibly lucky they are to be Americans.
