I know it’s a crime to use the word straight during pride month, but this is becoming a problem. The new apocalyptic terror is the so-called Delta Variant of COVID19. I call it Delta V. And Houston, we have a problem.
Fosters Daily Democrat has an article that quotes a doctor who says if you are vaccinated against COVID, you stand a better chance of fending off Delta-V.
Dr. Tom Wold, chief medical officer at Portsmouth Regional Hospital, said he thinks the Delta variant may double the risk of hospitalizations in unvaccinated persons. He urges anyone who has not yet gotten one of the vaccines to do so.
There’s plenty to chew on if you want to give Fosters the clicks, but it never addresses other facts on the ground. A supermajority of people, vaccinated or not, managed COVID19 with few if any symptoms. The real threat was not the flu but the way you were treated if the people in power.
The same people saying, get vaccinated, are saying we’ve got this “new” strain, and you need the vaccine because it’s going after the children!
The impact is being seen most in 12 to 20-year-olds. …
Health experts said unvaccinated people or those who have not completed the vaccine series are minimally protected against the variants, while fully vaccinated people are at far less risk.
And this time they are serious. Right when they are trying to come up with an excuse to vaccine kids? I’m not suspicious. Not at all.
You say Delta V is more contagious and among young people, which also fits your Left’s political profiling. And we know that getting vaccinated might give you COVID, and getting g vaccinated might lead to you getting Delta V, and in all but a fraction of cases, we see the same net effect.
Mild symptoms or they are asymptomatic and test positive.
The political response must then be the same, which – if you are still paying attention and don’t have short-term memory loss – is the only real threat.
