If you were thinking about wearing a mask in this restaurant, the owner is fed up. He has decided to take a stand. Ordering “masked” in his establishment will cost you an extra 5.00.
But wait, it gets better.
This is a brilliant move by the owner of Fiddleheads Cafe in Mendocino, California. The owner charges an extra $5 to customers who wear masks. Not only does this discourage liberal moonbats from dining, thereby creating a more positive, fun, and friendly atmosphere; the owner uses the $5 surcharge to fund a charity. There is an additional $5 surcharge if you are caught in the cafe bragging about your vaccination.
Release the Karens! RAAAWWRRR! (a good deal less intimidating muffled as it would be by face coverings if COVID Karens can even be called intimidating).
OMG, how could he do this? Relax Covidista’s and Vaccinistas. He donates all the fees he collects from these “fines” to charity.
“I don’t think $5 to charity is too much to ask from mask-wearing customers who claim to care so much about the community they live in,” Castleman told the news outlet.
Castleman said that he will donate extra earnings from mask wearers to a charity of his choice. Currently, proceeds are going to Project Sanctuary, a local domestic abuse organization, but in two weeks, a new charity will be selected to enter the rotation, NBC News reported.
“It’s about time that the proponents of these ineffective government measures start paying for the collateral damage they have collectively caused,” the cafe owner said.
Bravo!
And, if you don’t like it, you do not have to eat there. Unlike you, he’s allowing you to choose.
On a related note, I was in both Home Depot in Merrimack and Market Basket in Nashua earlier today. Merrimack never had one, but Nashua removed their mandate on Thursday and changed the ordinance to make masks optional. From Code Red to Yellow (or is it orange? Blue?). The net benefits are the mask Gestapo has to take a pill and suck it up, and we get to see who is still living pointlessly in fear.
I saw a few smiling maskless folks like myself. I like to smile at people wearing masks. Maybe it’s passive-aggressive as if I care (/wink!).
The large majority of people seemed unwilling or unable to part with their security ‘blankie.’ Their choice, for the hundredth time. I’m not anti-mask. You can wear as many as often for any reason you choose. I’m fine with that.
I won’t even charge you a fee, but I have to admit, I want to just for the year of BS you put us all through by enabling these rat-bastard politicos and their public health Reasputins.
