Public Hearing Thursday on Court Nominee: Can We Keep Dan Will from the Superior Court Bench?

by
Steve MacDonald

The hearing for Gov. Chris Sununu’s problematic N.H. Superior Court nominee Dan Will is coming up this Thursday, and we need to remind the Executive Council not to support this nominee before they meet.

Please Submit Group communications or Press Releases for consideration
to steve@granitegrok.com or skip@granitegrok.com. Submission is not a guarantee of publication.

Here is the history: N.H. Solicitor General Daniel Will wrote the Binford Objection which led to the NH Superior Court decision stating that the governor has the authority to “suspend the constitution” during a State of Emergency. Dan Will has been nominated to sit on this same court, making the court an even bigger constitutional threat.

Clearly, we must prevent Dan Will from taking residence on the NH Superior Court bench for 20 years. Please call and email all five of the executive councilors and tell them we need our judges defending the constitution, not undermining it. Ask them to say “no” to Dan Will’s nomination and urge the governor to find nominees that respect our rights.
