/kəˈrəpSH(ə)n/

1. dishonest or fraudulent conduct by those in power, typically involving bribery.
“the journalist who wants to expose corruption in high places”

Out of the 332,355,469, with a population of, at or about, 87,555 as of the City of Nashua, Division of Public Health and Community Services [according to the 2010 Chapter 1 Demographics Presentation]. However, Nashua, New Hampshire, is known throughout the United States as one of the most corrupt cities in the country. Many people are not aware of the corruption occurring right in our backyards. So, we decided that growing a well-informed community is the best contribution we could give back to our people. This is a public service announcement article to the Nashua population in our best efforts of Keeping Nashua Informed.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and back into the history of Nashua, people have been unaware of the deeply rooted corruption scattered throughout the Nashua Community. Specifically, the people in power and their contribution to this corrupt voting and practices. This is our way of Keeping Nashua Informed.

Corruption Starts at the Top
Mayor Jim Donchess

According to the City of Nashua’s Municipal Campaign Receipts and Expenditure Report, then Mayor Candidate, Jim Donchess accepted Campaign Contributions from the Following:

Nashua Political Activist: Sonia S. Prince

Alderwoman (2017 Election) & State Representative (2019 Election): Jan Schmidt

Current City of Nashua Attorney: Steve Bolton

The Nashua Teachers Union

Nashua Senator (2019 Election): Cindy Rosenwald

The Nashua Teachers Union Vice President: Gary Hoffman

Nashua Board of Education Member (2017 Elections): Dorothy “Dotti” Oden

Nashua Board of Education Attorney: Thomas Closson

Now, this is a very eye-opening realization, that prior to elected roles many of the current members of our sitting Boards, Committees, House, and Senate are found on this list (among many others). You see, this is a small snapshot into the corruption here in Nashua at its present foundation. Individuals who contributed to the Mayor’s 2015 campaign, are now sitting members of the Nashua Elected Community. Additionally, some of those contributors, now litigate for the City of Nashua, or other Boards within our city. How is this not a conflict of interest?

In addition to the campaign contributions, we at Keeping Nashua Informed, have undertaken the task of linking in the consistent players. The additional articles will include all the bad players and have been drafted for release later. Our Nashua Mayor is responsible for the oversight of our city, and the implementation of accountability for our elected officials, how can one hold the contributors of his campaign accountable?

TITLE LXII: Criminal Code, Chapter 643, Abuse of Office, Section 643:1

The connections run deeper, our goal in Keeping Nashua Informed is to provide the proven facts about our city, our city meetings, our education system, and more. In our upcoming articles, you will see connections between: The Board of Aldermen, The Board of Education, The Board of Public Health and Community Services, and that is just the tip of the iceberg.

We all deserve to see the proof of corruption happening in our city, we also deserve to better understand our current elected officials and what to look for in future candidates that set them apart from the corruption and redirect our city back to a land of the people, for the people, and by the people.

Stay Tuned, we are just getting started with Keeping Nashua Informed.
