Straight Lives Matter?

Something lighter for lunchtime, maybe? A female rapper has grown weary of LGBTQ terrorists waiting to unleash rhetorical roadside bombs at the slightest, well, slight. Perceived, that is (say it like foghorn Leghorn) I say, I say here now! Perceived slights, that is!

Related: “A ‘guy,’ in terms of this discussion, is defined as a person with a penis…”

Lil’ Mama’s answer is to speak the truth.

The rapper wrote, “there are so many people afraid to give their honest opion [sic] because if they do the LGBTQ+ will hear what they want to hear and take statements out of context.”

“I don’t have to prove myself by reminding people that I have loved ones of the LGBTQ+ community. When I speak, I’m not trying to hurt anyone, I’m just speaking my truth, just like you all.”

Her cure or perhaps balance for all of this? “I’m about to start a Heterosexual Rights Movement,” the rapper said, in order to combat what she called “anti-LGBTQ Bullying.”

We think you can combat actual bullying with something we like to call free speech: folks talking and listening without first trying to frame everything as a path to offense and outrage. And hey, let people speak and disagree.

That’s not where the Left, the Media, Academia, Big Tech, or even much of Corporate America have their heads at the moment (yes, up their collective ass is the correct answer). And from that position, they cannot hear clearly, nor are they able to think outside the confines of their worldview (which is centered on bullying).

That’s just my opinion. If you don’t like it, you are entitled to your own. And unlike much of the comment space on the internet, we won’t ban you for saying things with which we disagree. Get ugly, mean, threatening, or vulgar, and that might get you tossed, but otherwise, our commenters love it when the Left comes here to chat.”

Discourse is good for the free speech “business,” and that’s our business (I say, I say, non-profit, that is).

Lil’ Mama would like to see a bit more of that around the world wide web, and she is not alone, but if she’s not careful, she’ll be saying That’s All Folks to her career as a public person or, cowering on her knees and being forgiveness.
