Mr. Biden, This is a Test – Iranian Backed Shia Militia Group Fires Missiles at a US Base

Iran is expecting a lot from its President, Biden. The Iran Deal. Reparations for the pain and suffering they endured under Trump, Oh, and a free hand to allow proxies to launch missiles at US bases in the region. I xxpect Mr. Biden to lay down on all counts.

Under Trump, “The messages were clear: If an Iranian proxy killed an American, the U.S. reaction would not target the proxy but would target Iran. What exactly that meant was kept ambiguous; Iran had to calculate risks.”

And the Biden Administration?

Secretary of State Antony Blinken released a statement, saying “We are outraged by today’s rocket attack in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region. . . . I have reached out to Kurdistan Regional Government Prime Minister Masrour Barzani to discuss the incident and to pledge our support for all efforts to investigate and hold accountable those responsible.”

Yeah. They’ll get right on that.

Trump would have had missiles flying at the next guy in the chain of command responsible for logistical support of Iran’s proxies.

A promise that might have actually prevented the attack.

No such worry from President* Biden. He was probably busy singing an EO for pallets of cash to Iran to pay for the funeral expenses of Qasem Soleimani plus a few Soleimani T-Shirts for the ‘kids.’

Outraged, indeed!

“One contractor was killed, and five were wounded; one American soldier was wounded,” and not so much as a threatening tweet.
