A Story About Using the GraniteGrok Mask Order Medical Exception Placard

Lanyard - Medical Exemption

I get folks emailing me from time to time with stories about using ‘Grok’s Mask Exemption placard, like this one. “Hi Skip, I went to Walmart, the door employee referred me to masks available inside, didn’t even try to hand me one, so I did not need to show the lanyard.

However at Gunstock ski area this morning, a ski patrol guy asked me if I had a mask.  The lanyard came through perfectly (I was climbing up the trail and skiing down, and not using their lift).

Again at Gunstock I went into their welcome center to purchase their season pass $135 for climbing and skiing down before they open at 9am each day, and I got disconcerting looks from several counter employees in there about my not having a mask.  Your lanyard came through every time.  They all seemed fine with the authoritative pronouncements on the lanyard 🙂

This only emboldens me to try the police station, and if that goes well, then the library!

My knowing which Library he’s going to should make for an “interesting” story.

Lots of you donated to GraniteGrok and I’ve sent out scores of our Mandatory Mask Medical Exemption placards – thank you very much.

If you’ve got stories, let me know!
