I’m Not the Only One Thinking “Lined up on the Runway Ready to Go”

Planes on a taxiway

This echoes what I’ve been saying. That the GOP and NH GOP should have Bills prepped and prechecked WELL before a legislative session, on the taxiway, and ready to launch down the runway.

Just read that cartoon/cucking post on the Insta wall… Jesus H. Christ on a chariot; you’re right, they want us to go crazy and form a circular firing squad while Biden/Schumer/Pelosi ram thru their agenda.

And the left does want to destroy voices like yours… like the PowerLine post you shared, now the left will attempt to make all aspects of conservatism “Trumpism” and discredit them/us/any dissent from their messages.

This week I recalled (sadly) your lament of how Rs in Congress spent most of ‘17 incredulous that this Trump fellow had won, and should have had legislation (your words) “lined up on the runway ready to go.”

Schumer, Pelosi et al certainly will not be doing that.

Nope. No Paul Ryans in charge on the Democratic side.

Yes, we have all kinds of bills getting ready here in NH. With the NH House having 400 members and 24 in the Senate, we have between 800 and 1,000 a session. Most will be heard (per the Law) and cast aside in committee (as they should be, not just because they are either Democrat or Republican but because they are just STUPID and frivolous).

What I keep hoping to hear from the Rs is “Our Principles generating our Agenda and here are the bills fulfilling both.”

And something more than “we’re going to cut taxes. Again.”

Instead, the last few times they had the majorities, they keep missing the Big Point – stop wasting time and get your caucus all on the same page and PLAN the bills instead of what seems to be a free-for-all.

Won’t happen again as the time to be able to submit bills is over and the time to pick THE pet bills is already in process (or done, depending on who the Prime Sponsor or Speaker Packard’s agenda). In the Senate, it’s always the Financials that get top billing.

How about, sometime soon guys, start going after what really ails Rs here in NH – the Culture?

Democrats have changed the traditional NH Culture more and more to be like NY and/or California and much of that has been locked in via legislation. How about deciding to look at things from a different angle and see “hey, if we can actually legislate to support our State motto, Live Free or Die (e.g., Freedom to choose instead of Govt circumscribing what you can choose, moving back to a Permissionless Society from the Democrats “Mommy, may I?” could make a difference.

Whaddya think?
