Mitch McConnell Tells Pelosi, Schumer – No, We’re NOT Doing the Impeachment Thing After All

Mitch McConnell, to whom I just served a ration of crap-sandwich this morning for abandoning the President, was either bluffing or playing a longer game. I’m not taking credit for the flip, but he seems to have confused his Democrat colleagues. There will be no Senate Impeachment Trial.

A McConnell spokesman confirmed that their office told Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s staff that McConnell won’t “consent” to reconvening the Senate before Jan. 19 after a report broke Tuesday night that McConnell is reportedly considering voting to convict Trump in an impeachment trial.

If you recall, last night and this morning, the Lefty-Media was giddy about reporting rumors Cocaine Mitch was done with the Trumpster – that he would no longer defend him. And that an impeachment vote, for lack of a better term, was good.

And now this.

I imagine New Hampshire’s Democrat Senators are disappointed. The chance to cast a second historic vote for impeachment doesn’t come around often, as in ever.

And it’s not coming around at all now.

Boo Hoo. And Boo Hoo for Republican Liz Cheney Too.

Was someone setting a trap? I don’t know but they caught someone.
