Ostensibly Joe Biden is a Democrat; okay a dementia patient. He has been a Party Member for a very long time. Today he is a hard-core leftist, a socialist, a communist. The Party is run by Anarchists, Antifa, BLM, and Islamists. Don’t believe it? Listen to them sometime.
Why does the Left hate our liberal constitutional republic? It doesn’t logically make sense. We extend full rights to women, to gays, and to our Arab citizens. Like all countries, America is made up of flawed human beings. We have among the highest living standards in the world. Illiteracy and poverty are largely gone from America.
America is not perfect. It is flawed, but compared to most countries it is a civil rights paradise. Americans have always worked to fulfill our greater aspirations. We look forward to more and better and are not stuck in our past. We learn from our mistakes by debating them, correcting them, and moving on.
The Left is not guided by the traditional moral compass of western civilization. Instead, its dogma is guided by three other positions. The left has good versus bad positions based on power, race, and class. Morality has no place on the Left. It simply could care less. We should reflect on that. The Left could care less about any individual.
When you are guided by a moral compass, you don’t ask, “who’s strong and who’s weak?” You ask, “who’s morally right and who’s morally wrong?” The Left does not evaluate people and nations on the basis of right and wrong or good and evil. This is a salient difference between conservatives and Leftists.
Let’s look at the Left’s view of power. The Left evaluates people and nations on the basis of weak and strong. If you’re weak, you’re good. If you’re strong, you’re bad. America is strong therefore it is bad. The Palestinians are regarded as weak therefore they are good. That’s the dogma as we find it.
Think about the Left’s approach. Because they view the Palestinians as weak the Palestinians are good. So, no matter how much terror Palestinians engage in it makes no difference. Hijacking airplanes, murdering Israeli athletes and coaches at the 1972 Munich Olympics, blowing up Israelis in pizza parlors, and at weddings; no problem. If you are weak, a victim, you can do no wrong.
The left’s position has never changed. Palestinians are good because the Palestinians are weak. And America is strong so it must be bad. Third World countries that oppose the United States are good. Cuba, for example, has been a darling of the Left for more than half a century.
It does not matter that Cuba’s communist party has ruined a once prosperous Cuba. It is not important that Cubans have no civil rights. Cuba is one of the poorest countries in the world and the Left does not care about that either. Cuba is weak, to the left, Cuba is good. That’s just the belief structure.
The same was true with North Vietnam. It was considered weak, so it was good. The US was strong, so it was bad. It didn’t matter that America was trying to preserve the freedom of the South Vietnamese. It did not matter America has preserved the freedom of the South Koreans. The US was strong. So America was bad.
The stronger America gets, the more it effectively defends itself, as its economy grows, and as its diplomatic position improves the more the left hates it. What do you think a Biden administration is going to do to America? What does Leftist dogma require of him, of his administration?
Now let’s move on to race. Race is another reason the left hates America. The Left substitutes weak and strong for good and evil. So too, the left substitutes non-white and white for good and evil respectively. Logically does that not make them racist?
The left doesn’t judge people by their actions. Instead, all that matters is the color of their skin, their race. That’s why the Left asserts that a black person cannot be a racist, only a white person can be a racist. This is obviously wrong but it is the Leftist dogma. It is racist dogma.
America is labeled evil: Americans are considered majority white. Never mind that America is approaching more than half of the population being not white. The Left essentially ignores BLM terror and loudly condemns American responses to terror. This is just what Leftists are, what they do.
Finally, let’s put class into perspective. This is another way in which the Left replaces categories of good and evil. Good and Evil are traditional Western and Judeo-Christian values. Instead of judging people’s actions by the same moral yardstick, good and evil, the Left judges people’s actions based on their economic class.
Rich people and rich nations are bad. Poor people and poor nations are good. Think about that; Leftist dogma requires poverty. It glorifies being a downtrodden victim. That’s not how you raise people’s standards of living. This began with Karl Marx. He divides the world by economic class, not moral behavior. Is this why socialism always fails?
To Marx and Marxism, good and evil are entirely class-based. Good is defined as workers. Evil is defined as owners. That is the reason for the left’s hatred of America. We are wealthy. That alone makes America evil. That America is the most egalitarian nation to ever have existed on earth matters, not at all. To the Left, it is about power and control. It is not about making things better for everyone. That’s a capitalist goal.
Fewer and fewer Americans perceive the world in terms of good and evil. This is a shortcoming of our civilization. Instead many are substituting a power, race, or class worldview for a moral compass. The result is we are getting more evil, and seeing more hatred of the good.
In America, we are witnessing, undergoing a test of Western Civilization. If we fail this test tyranny and poverty will soon rule not only America but the world. Civilization will devolve. Just a thought, something to brighten your day. Are you looking forward to 2021 now? Merry Christmas
