Every time I think of Dementia Joe calling for “Unity” once the Democrat mouthpieces in the MSM called the Prez race for him, my eyebrows keep rising.
I’d need a bigger blog to capture them all (or, certainly a whole lot more time listing them) but the true believers keep harshing his mellow. Like here, from the Washington Post – right at the forefront of the Progressive Cancel Movement:
WaPo: Media Must Shun Republicans Who Don’t Accept Biden as ‘President-Elect’
The Washington Post on Thursday promoted creating a political litmus test by asking Republicans three deciding questions to test whether they had wholehearted faith in the recent election process, leading many to note that the paper has never held Democrats to similar lines of questioning in the past.
The Post, which frequently undermined the legitimacy of Trump’s presidency due to the unfounded Russia hoax, set out to demand Republicans answer the proposed questions in order to determine the Republican’s legitimacy.
And they were, not unexpectedly:
- Who won the 2020 presidential election?
- Do you support or oppose Donald Trump’s continuing efforts to claim victory?
- If Joe Biden wins a majority in the electoral college, will you accept him as the legitimately elected president of the United States?
Well of COURSE, this is slanted and it doesn’t take a political genius to figure out how – or why and the post makes it clear:
the Post’s survey seeks to punish Republicans who choose not to accept the essay’s take on reality.
With no mention, however, of “their reality” that Trump was illegitimate from winning, proceeding to his Inauguration, and right up to now. And yet, Bezo’s boobs really do think that Republicans are going to be cowed by this if some nitwit gets up in their grill and demands answers?
Oh, of course, there will be the Romney wuss types that will fold like the dog carrier on his station wagon – it’s who they are as they just can’t seem to let go of the notion that Politics is a Gentleman’s endeavor. That’s the attitude of losing with disgrace but feeling good about yourself anyway. While my emphasis has always been on “it’s what you do AFTERWARDS that’s most important”, one does have to meet the “Winning is only a precursor” clause as well. Giving up, conceding, taking a knee – none of them are manly attributes in this current political arena of bloodletting. The stakes (e.g., the VAST amount of monies available to direct, the ways of being able to either affect or FORCE changes on others) are high.

I AM looking forward to one of the newer model of Republicans, smiling and showing their fangs, and taking a bit out of them by doing something that, as Obama’s Ben Rhodes holds, these 27-year-olds know nothing at all. I’d like to see how the Freedom Caucus folks would have them for lunch.
Figuratively or literally – take your pick. Either might be worth paying for a PPV.
