It starts with this:
As far as I know, the full autopsy has NOT been released. Consequently, we do not know if there was a comorbidity. Why is this important? Because without knowing whether there was a comorbidity, we don’t know whether Hinch died of COVID … as the Medical Examiner is claiming … or whether he died because he had a comorbidity.
As you may recall, back in the summer the CDC reported that only 6% of deaths being reported as COVID deaths were due exclusively to COVID. The remainder involved a comorbidity. More specifically, the deceased died from the comorbidity and also had COVID. From the CDC as of December 9th:
Obviously, one can argue that “but for” COVID the deceased would not have died, and so it is accurate to say the deceased died from COVID. But you can also argue that “but for” the comorbidity the deceased would not have died, and so it is inaccurate to merely say the deceased died from COVID. The point is that it is extremely rare that healthy people die from COVID.
(And, as a parenthetical note, it is my understanding that deaths from the seasonal flu have never been reported this way. That is, if you have coronary disease, get the flu and then go into cardiac arrest, you are classed as having died from cardiac arrest, not from the flu.)
It is possible that Dick Hinch died of COVID. But given the statistics … to repeat, per the CDC only 6% of deaths reported as COVID were actually due to just COVID … it is far more likely that Hinch died from another medical condition exacerbated by COVID.
Note that the Attorney General’s “News Release” is totally silent on whether there was another condition or cause of death. That is, MacDonald is not saying there wasn’t any comorbidity. The “bottom line” is that until we see the full autopsy it is premature to say that COVID was the cause of death.
But that did not prevent Chris Sununu from rushing to the television cameras and essentially declare that Dick Hinch would still be alive if only his fellow GOP-Reps had “masked-up”:
A Rep-with-an-R-after-his-name took it a step further, essentially calling GOP Reps who declined to wear masks killers:
Some in the local “press” also suggested that GOP-Reps were responsible for Hinch’s death. For example:
As, of course, did NH-Democrat politicians and activists. For example:
This is all bullshit. We know that masks do NOT work. For example:
And we also know that COVID cases in New Hampshire have exploded since Sununu mandated masks. This chart from the same source:
Dick Hinch’s death is being politicized and exploited by Sununu, the NH-“press”, the NH-Democrats, the NH-RINOs … . Their implicit and explicit claims that Dick Hinch would still be alive if only GOP-Reps had all masked-up are patently false.
SHAME on them.
