Good Morning. The NH Dept Health and Human Services released an updated COVID case Summary yesterday, dated 12-16-2020. We have updated our NH Threat index to reflect this new information.

The survival rate for patients who were told they tested positive rose slightly for the 70+ age category and decreased slightly for the 60-69 age group. This is a reflection of increased or decreased testing in these age groups.

Cases continue to mean nothing:

Our results ignore any other noise from either side on any policy preferences and focus on the likelihood of hospitalization or death as a percentage of those the state reposts as having tested positive for COVID19.

This in turn will educate the population in a meaningful way about what cases and infection rates mean in real terms so that they can make their own assessment about the relevance of actions or inactions taken by anyone regardless of political or policy preference at either the state or local level.

This data is a product of information provided in New Hampshire’s 12/16/20 COVID Case Summary.

These figures represent your risk of hospitalization or death if you test positive for COVID19 and your survival rate after testing positive based on 9 months of state data.
