“The crisis is arrived when we must assert our rights, or submit to every imposition, that can be heaped upon us, till custom and use shall make us as tame and abject slaves.” —George Washington (1774)
The Supreme Court refused to take up the Texas lawsuit. Texas charged four states with illegally changing voting rules. This outcome was widely predicted in advance. The suit was very different in nature from those filed by Donald Trump’s legal team.
The Texas suit stressed the changes were not authorized by the respective state legislatures. It asserts the changes clearly influenced the election outcome. Influencing the election outcome through improperly changing election laws in one location, clearly affects every state and every citizen.
The Supreme Court is refusing to take the case based on “lack of standing.” In legal speak lack of standing means the Court determined the plaintiff, the state of Texas, was not itself direct impacted. Because it was not harmed it could not bring the suit. Refusing to hear the case because of lack of standing is very different from declaring the claims for the Texas suit don’t have merit. They most certainly do have merit.
Now the Electoral College has met. The votes cast make Joe Biden the winner of the 2020 election. If he makes it to January 20th, he will be sworn in as president. We might as well have elected a doorstop president. Then the real Leftist puppet, Kamala Harris, will step in.
Biden declares, “Faith in our institutions held. The integrity of our elections remains intact.” That is patently wrong. Even more insanely, Biden is touting the restoration of ethics to the executive branch. Everybody hold up the arm you wear your watch on… it’s getting deep.
So, what are we to do when the Harris-Biden regime becomes oppressive? We know it will. What are you going to do when Harris adopts her far-left, constitutionally abrogating policies? “The crisis is arrived when we must assert our rights, or submit to every imposition, that can be heaped upon us, till custom and use shall make us as tame and abject slaves.” —George Washington (1774)
