The Democrats are always saying that Republicans and Conservatives (and sometimes, that Venn diagram is a small intersection) talk in “dog whistles” – racism, xenophobia, even “legal votes” are supposedly code words meant to oppress some imaginary group of folks. It’s projection, of course, they do this all the time (sometimes rather bluntly in calling us Nazis or Fascists) so they just can’t seem to understand that we just believe that words have meanings and we use those words for those meanings.
We don’t have to euphemize or hide what we are talking about.
But US Congressman Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) makes it abundantly clear what she means, even if it is a thinly veiled “dog whistle”:
“From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.”
Progressives usually talk in terms of finite identity political groups – Tlaib goes all out with this and basically is saying she want Israel wiped off the face of the earth:

Do you really think that Nancy Pelosi (D-San Fran) is going to tell this member of AOC’s Squad to zip it with this kind of stuff?
Hardly. Why should she? First she has a very narrow majority – all it would take would be to tick off the Squad (which, rumors are, will be getting a couple of more members) and stop the Democrat agenda from the Left. Second, being Anti-Israel is a “thing” with the Leftist Democrats. After all, their whole “deal” is going all in for “oppressed” people (even while it was Yasser Arafat that killed off every peace plan / solution that would have lifted up “his people”) – so they hate Israel. Unfortunately, there are a number of anti-Semites among those that might be gaining high level positions within a Biden administration if the election plays out the way it seems to be doing.
So what does this mean for the Peace initiatives that Trump started in the Middle East. As a businessman doing a deal, he recognized that the Palestinians REFUSED to be part of any solution so he bypassed them competely. Like anyone making a deal with a third part, he just cut the second part out of the deal because, well, they have always refused to make a deal. So, taking them off the board, knowing that the rest of the Middle East hates and fears the Iranians rather than the pesky problem that the Palestinians have made themselves to be, Trump seized upon that as a pivot point.
The question will be is “Will Biden Louse It Up”? Will Biden pull an Obama (e.g., Obama did exactly the opposite of what Bush did) on Trump? Or will he finally not be stupid and recognize the gift that Trump is leaving and finally getting a solid peace plan in place in the M.E.?
Doubtful – he’s bringing back all of the same foreign policy makers that were behind the “Cash for Nothing” deal with Iran that Obama pulled off – which resulted in nothing in return for billions of dollars delivered to the Mullahs. Trump has that regime on its KNEES and all Biden as to do is keep those strictures in place and perhaps Iran would learn to behave.
Yeah, I know, they won’t because they are TRUE Believers.

But one has to wonder about the voters that kept Tlaib in that seat…
