While you’re waiting for your Granite Grok Medical Exemption Tag to arrive in the mail, here’s something else you can do. Just print out some copies the following, and require any operator of a public accommodation (such as the manager of a store, or the driver of a bus) to sign it before you put on a mask as a condition of entry:
I agree to personally accept all financial, legal, and moral responsibility for any and all adverse conditions (including seizure or other loss of consciousness, and any secondary conditions — including but not limited to broken bones, concussions, or other brain damage — caused by falling after loss of consciousness) that may result from requiring [your name here] to wear a face covering in order to gain access to the public accommodation known as ___________________________________________.
This includes not just short-term expenses for immediate care, but also any long-term expenses resulting from the incident, such as extended or repeated hospitalization, residence in an assisted living facility, in-home assistance, and so on. It also includes funeral and burial expenses if the adverse conditions lead to death.
