From the Massachusetts “Smaht People.” Harvard’s political prediction for the Presidential Result. They may still be right about who eventually wins but their “Blue Wave” prediction would barely move a pebble on the shore.

Predictions this year have been like Fall coming – they come every election season and most of them just act like leaves; they just fall.
And this one about NH’s Executive Council fell really flat.
Actual result? 4-1, Rs flipped the Executive Council.
You know, sometimes it’s nice to admit that you don’t know enough (I certainly don’t) to make such predictions – the above really shows how stupid one can get.
Which also shows why top-down command and control economies never have worked and never will – too many independent variables (e.g., people) making tens, hundreds, or thousands of decisions a day – who could POSSIBLY get all those decisions right?
Look, I’m not picking on nhpol603 for making the prediction – just that real life often has no connections to these types of predictions and this was WAY off. Joe Kenney, Janet Stevens, Ted Gatsas, and Dave Wheeler (Rs) vs Cinde Warmington (D).
