Like a Crucifix to a Vampire

The other day, we were shopping for a gift in one of the state-run liquor stores, when one of the employees wandered over to ask ‘if we knew about the state mask mandate’.  My wife, who was wearing her GraniteGrok Medical Exemption Badge inside a jacket, pulled it out and said, ‘In fact, I do!’  And the employee physically jumped back, sightly raising his hands, as if he was a vampire and she was holding a crucifix.  I don’t think he even had time to read it.

Anyway, it was quite amusing to watch.  I recommend getting a few of the badges to hand out to your friends, just so they can have some fun too.
