Let’s Just Be Honest, This Is Human Experimentation

by
Op-Ed

We have been, and continue to be, subjected to human experimentation without informed consent. Social distancing, mandated masking, contact tracing, biometric data collection, closing schools, closing places of worship, dividing people into essential and nonessential, and quarantining healthy people, among others.

Soon there will be travel passes and coerced or mandated vaccines.

We have been simultaneously subjected to so many alien variables that it is no wonder that mental, social, physical, domestic, political, and spiritual illness is now pervasive and exceeds any illness caused by Sars-CoV-2.

There have never been sufficient studies to determine that these “mitigation techniques” are safe individually, much less when all implemented simultaneously.  Have I done an extensive review of the literature?  No, but think about it; how could sufficient studies demonstrating the safety and efficacy of these techniques exist when we have never seen them before.

So, let’s be honest. This is human experimentation.

Fortunately, we have the Nuremberg Code (1949).  With the Nuremberg Code, we should be receiving informed consent because it is “absolutely essential.”  Has anyone given you information about the benefits, risks, and alternatives?  Have you exercised “free power of choice”?  Well, maybe you haven’t been afforded either of these, but certainly, these experiments have been free of “…any element of force, fraud, deceit, duress, over-reaching, or other ulterior form of constraint or coercion…”, right?

Perhaps Informed Consent was good enough to throw around when we were dealing with Nazis, but we are Americans.  We don’t need no Informed Consent!  These experiments have provided “fruitful results for the good of society” and have not been “random and unnecessary in nature.”  Undiagnosed and untreated illness, increased unemployment, anxiety, stress, depression, suicide, broken families, among other things,…sounds fruitful to me.

I won’t continue to insult your intelligence by walking you through the rest of the Nuremberg Code violations.  And, of course, I was being sarcastic.  The question is, what to do now?  Well, the first thing to do is to continue to insist that the new State legislature stop this human experimentation by getting us out of this State of Emergency and getting rid of RSA 4:45.

Next, they should form a committee to perform a thorough investigation of all of this, with ample opportunity for the public to offer testimony on the pain and suffering they have endured.  The officials who are found to have allowed this unethical human experimentation should be impeached and barred from ever holding office again.  Finally, they need to immediately pass legislation assuring informed consent for all vaccines and all other mitigation techniques.
