Which puts the GOP at 50 seats with two seats left to decide – both in the Georgia runoffs to be held on Jan 5th. It’s about freaking time – he’s been ahead 2-1 almost since Election Day Week Month Year (seems like it’s been a whole year….) Day.
Speaking of Georgia. The Democrats have to win BOTH in order to take control AND Biden has to get past the certification of the votes in order to have Commie Kamala be the Veep which means she would be the President of the Senate and able to break tie votes. When I look at the actual vote totals:

It seems that Georgia is still a Republican State. Perdue is already in the lead (albeit by 2 points). However, while Warnock has a lead over Leoffler in the other race, when you add up all the R votes vs the D votes, the Rs are greater: 2,422,187 to 2,375,824. Who knows, however what the actual runoff totals will be. That said, the Rs only have to win one and it doesn’t matter who is the Veep.
I can tell you, however, that even up here in the Granite State, I am getting MORE political emails NOW than I was before Election Day and they are all are about Georgia. It’s gonna be a long two months…
