When I first read Lyin Dog Faced Pony Soldier’s Ruling-Class Media-Scold Suspended For “Giving Himself a Hand” During a Zoom Meeting and saw the graphic, I did burst out laughing (thankfully during a break – the Judge in charge turned out to be a tyrant and probably would have torched me for not paying attention).

It’s amazing what I missed these last few days. Almost overnight we have a new noun turned verb and not in a good way. “Toobinning” is springing up everywhere.
During this time of pandemic “stay in your house, serfs” (while allowed for some and for somethings – unlike the Chinese who actually did weld some Wuhan residents into their homes), and the resulting incalcitrant Teachers Unions unwilling to go back to work, Zoom (and Webex, GoToMeeting, Google, et al) has become a verb instead of a name. Zooming has passed into popular parlance just like Xeroxing did decades ago.
If you’re on a business call, what could get more disgusting than this?
And how must it feel to be the dude that has just turned himself into a verb, literally overnight, for being both stupid combined with a sense of entitlement that he was above (or is that below?) everybody else’s sense of morality. Who does this? I can tell you:
Those that believe they are our moral betters.
In politics, in the media, in industry. Those that went to the “right schools”, are from the “right families” and are now working for the “right companies”. If they were a single family, “incest” wouldn’t begin to cover the relationships and the webs of influence of that they are above those of us that are either directly in Flyover Country or share those traditional American values.
Even with this, I’m betting that Toobin still believes that. He’ll just wait out the “two months of rage” and he’ll get returned to his Perch of Progressive Privilege. Of course, he’ll be a bit more circumspect for a while but it won’t take long before he’s back into his former saddle.
Obviously, Toobin didn’t think that traditional American values, such as modesty, didn’t apply to him. Morals are for the little people that believe in that traditional sense of religious right and wrong just don’t apply to luminaries such as he. How do I know?
Has he become a complete pariah as of yet? Absolutely….no. Sure, there was some mention on the Left but most of what I read during breaks in the trial were apologist:

One thing I am sure of, unless you are a porn star, live streaming has no part in this for 99.99% of the US population (and I may well be understating that percentage).
Toobin was suspended from New Yorker Magazine, not FIRED.
Wasn’t that a misogynist act, given females were ALSO on that Zoom call?
As a male I would have YELLED at another dude doing that during ANY kind of a meeting.
ONLY SUSPENDED? NYM is Leftist – are they also of the same mindset? I, and any of the other folks I know, would have gotten a call from HR within 30 seconds and cashiered within another 15 seconds. This makes it look like NYM is thinking “another scandal – we’ll bring him back in a coupla months”.
This means they share the same moral turpitude as Toobin – just not as open about it as he was.
And what does it say about the CNN leadership that TOOBIN IS STILL WORKING THERE? That he’s only taking a bit of personal time off? It seems that very little can embarrass the Left when it comes to their own actions (and at the other end of the spectrum, the political violence of Antifa and BLM – it’s always the downplay of “mostly peaceful protesters” to hide the rioters).
This is really proving that the Left may well be a collection of sex-starved, sex-filled, and amoralistic bunch of moralists (fine for me and all that) that just sneer at the rest of us that believe that some modicum of dignity is the better path to walk.
It really seems that their Political Correctness only applies to others – not them. And it shows the absolute corruptness of the relative morality that has taken place and taken hold in the Godless Left (yeah, if you are the “religious Left” that believes that the killing of an unborn child is not a sin, go somewhere else).
Right now, I just wish that the “sads” on his face becomes longer and sadder. I yell at my do when she’s wrong – and she then knows and acts like it. This guy, given his history (cheating on his wife, creating an unborn baby with a mistress and then offering money for the abortion and then promising to wreck her life if she didn’t?), he nothing but a self-absorbed Progressive who does what most Progressives do – making themselves feel good at the expense of others.
And in his case, literally.
