Steve, in a post titled, “A Culture So Poisoned That They Can’t Help but Do Wrong,” where he talked about emergent college ethos to SILENCE anyone that brings up ideas or speech to which they disagree and proceeded to bring that analogy to the now censorious Social Media Big Tech firms.

Commenter Matt on FB threw the above into the mix, and in looking for a Featured Image (above), I found the quote.
The measure of health, IMHO, and playing Capt. Obvious for a moment, is to recognize that Society is sick right now.
Unfortunately, the Left has rejected the foundations of a healthy society where speech is valued and not shut down because of disagreement.
In which people are not denigrated for the immutable attribute of skin color. In which attributes of hard work, of striving, of nuclear families, where people accept absolute ideas of what is right and wrong vs. relative moralism.
Where those of faith are not considered to be irrelevant at best and dismissed as crazy and extremist at worst and only fit to be dismissed from general society.
Where those who take advantage of double standards now seem to be the “cool kids” to which no harm ever comes. In which a sick society is defined with one standard for those “cool kids” and others for everyone else. Where a sick society is one where an established culture is dismissed out of hand by newcomers.
Where a sick society believes what is yours is theirs and will have no problem taking it from you. In which a sick society refuses to acknowledge that some just wish to be left alone – and the Karens just ignore that.
Sidenote: just the phenomena of “a Karen” is just rotten through and through. Mrs. Kravitz looks like an angel next to Mindi Messmer (the Queen of Snitches).
In which a Society is so sick that someone blowing a whistle on Planned Parenthood’s selling of dead baby parts is himself brought up on felony charges – because he cares about those babies that were murdered by doctors, nurses, et al. with the blessing of the mothers.
A society in which the question “Who Chooses” is seemingly mounting up to a three-word answer, “Government, not you.”
The better measure of a healthy person in a sick society is to stand up and trumpet “No Mas” and to work to restore that which has been devastated.
Yes, there have always been those parts of Society that have been ill and in need of healing – that is the human condition. I have not, however, seen American culture go so wrong, so badly, in such a short amount of time in which everything has gone topsy-turvy in order to create the Chaos that will create so many Crisis, the Left will have a field day in taking advantage of what they themselves have created.
A sick Society.
