I liked Taylor Swift and then she ruined it. She decided that she had made so much money that she could afford to come out as a member of the liberal elite. That aggravating at least a third and up to half her audience was no big deal. She endorsed a Democrat, and they lost.

This is not a stupid girl. She is talented, savvy, and has created an empire. A teen star who managed to survived and thrived. She sits atop a mountain of success that’s worth at least a million an hour (if you want to book her for a private performance). Whatever else she may believe we applaud individual talent and success.
That does not, as we’ve so often seen, make you good at anything else.
In 2018 she dipped a pampered Lilly-white toe into a US Senate race by endorsing Phil Bredesen who lost. Now she’s back with Biden cookies and is on the record supporting creepy Joe for the Big O (oval office).
We will always encourage the exercise of political speech by anyone for anything and as much or more speech in support of the opposition. But Swift is 0-1 in her endorsement career so Biden better be careful.
While I’m sure he’d love a kiss from the pop-darling her nod could be the kiss of death. The career politician who has been in Washington “fixing things” 17 years before Taylor Alison Swift was born, never left. By all accounts, he is the last person you’d pick as a change candidate. But he is the solution to a problem.
Trump was elected as a disruptor. The only change candidate to ever hold the office, in my memory except for perhaps JFK (I was 3-months old when that got him killed).
The political establishment likes to talk about change but they don’t actually want it. Business as usual Biden is not just a feature of ruling class DC he is their poster child-sniffing last hope.
If Trump wins in a few weeks they may have to consider an actual coup. Expand the riots until the people have had too much. Democrat riots funded by Democrat money and abetted by Democrat leaders.
Frankly, I think they’d already had too much and the Dems are going to get shellacked on November 3rd. A beating that even vote-by-mail-fraud can’t undo. But Taylor’s not thinking about any of that. She, like most entertainment libs is just pandering to her peer group. Singing (literally) to the choir. And while the sample size is small, so far, she’s been off-key.
Let’s hope that trend continues.
