No, this is not a feature but a bug. Five Hundred laws ISN’T something to be proud of because each and every one of them constrains Freedom (unless he’s naming Post Offices – I’d be happy if that’s all they were doing down there in DC). It takes a big Ego to run for that high office- it takes a big dose of discipline to keep it in check.
Hardly any of them do – or want to (Pssst – Markey’s in that latter camp).
Like many are saying, we can thank him for one thing – nailing the door to Kennedy’s Camelot shut for good by beating the last JFK wannabe, Joe the III. For that, an attaboy.
