Data Point – Police “systemic racism”?

by

Reformatted, emphasis mine:

  • Approximately 50 million police-civilian interactions every year
  • 11 million arrests each year (22%)
  • Of those 11 million 1,000 alleged perpetrators / arrestees are killed each year (0.009%).  Of those 11 million, 250 were Black (0.0023%) and 500 were White (0.0045%)
  • The percentage of police shootings that involve a white cop and an unarmed black suspect is less than 4% of the total.
  • Manhattan Institute’s Heather Mac Donald explains, “A police officer is 18 1/2 times more likely to be killed by a black male than an unarmed black male is to be killed by a police officer.”

If one was to believe the media and the BLM supportive media, it should like that old canard that 1 in 5 women on college campuses are sexually assaulted.
